Receptionist

As a Receptionist you will make a great first impression each day in person and on the phone.  This role has high interaction with all customers and provides customers with a first and last impression as the greeter when customers come in the bank and a well-wisher when customers leave the bank. The Receptionist delegates customer phone calls which are essential to daily operations.  Other responsibilities include clerical duties, such as opening mail, processing night drop, laminating news articles, addressing and mailing cards and referring customer comments and complaints to the appropriate manager. The receptionist must be friendly and outgoing and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills

 Duties:

  • Greet all walk-in customers within a 15 ft radius as well as acknowledge customers as they leave the bank
  • Answer phones following MOT standards
  • Direct calls to the Contact Center or appropriate party
  • Direct walk-in customers to appropriate party
  • Actively participate in and take turns leading daily huddles
  • Create a "WOW" experience to make every customer say "I love my bank!"
  • Complete ABA courses monthly as needed
  • Complete and pass 2 TGIMU courses weekly
  • Perform clerical duties such as, mailings, laminating, addressing, data entry
  • Ensure all forms and other display items are stocked and organized
  • Forward calls to specific individuals and take messages when appropriate
  • Answers general questions relating to the bank
  • Arrange appointments as necessary
  • Mail out renewals, statements, and notifications when required
  • Check file maintenance on opt in/opt out when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as greeter preferred
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
  • Flexible to schedule changes when necessary
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Able to make rational decisions and problem solve
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Background check required as well as good credit history

Hours

  • Average hours are 39 hours per week
