The Customer Service Representative - Call Center assists new and existing customers providing a "WOW" experience that helps Sterling Federal achieve its goals. Providing solutions to customer questions and problems that includes the delivery of exemplary customer service, cross selling of products, identification of qualified referrals and deepening relationships that leave every customer saying "I love my bank!"

Customer Service Representative- Call Center Duties:

  • Be knowledgeable of bank products and services including resolution of loan questions and ATM card inquires in a timely manner
  • Recognize and refer a customer to a partner which leads to a kept appointment or call weekly
  • Perform the 7-step sales process with customers to make recommendations and cross sales
  • Role play the 7-step sales process and MOTs weekly
  • Maintain an accurate rate of work
  • Complete and mail out any customer notifications as needed
  • Data entry through Phoenix database of detailed notes of customer interactions
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of SFB's policies and procedures
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be "team-oriented"
  • Minimum two years' banking experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
  • Attendance and reliability are crucial

Hours

  • 8:00 - 5:00 Monday through Thursday
  • 8:00 - 5:30 Friday
  • 8:00 - 12:30 Saturday
  • Every other Saturday off with a half day off the week that you also work on Saturday
