We are seeking an ASSISTANT TELLER SUPERVISOR at our Sterling main location.

Purpose: The Assistant Teller Supervisor assists in overseeing the Lobby and Drive-up locations at the main bank.

Precise Roles, Tasks & Responsibilities

• Scheduling, supervising, training and developing staff
• Supporting the teller staff by approving/overseeing transactions as needed, assisting with balancing issues and verifications of cash
• Maintaining customer service standards, greeting customers and facilitating a welcoming and customer focused environment
• Maintain currency vault, includes sending coin to Fed and teller increases/decreases
• Maintain schedules and timesheet
• Monitoring and providing guidance, written disciplinary actions when necessary
• Statement and check research
• Balance ATM
• Being a positive role model for all employees
• Branch opening and closing responsibilities based on schedule
• Complete ABA courses monthly as needed
• Complete and pass 2 TGIMU courses weekly
• Actively participate in and take turns leading daily huddles
• Oversee opening and closing of branch
• Coach and supervise teller team to excellence in position
• Perform administrative duties such as override and transaction review
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Create a "WOW" experience to make every customer say "I love my bank!"
• Be knowledgeable of bank products and services in order to make excellent recommendations

Requirements:

• Self-motivated and self-disciplined
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles
• Knowledge of office methods, procedures, and practices including the use of standard office and teller equipment
• Skill in performing typical financial transactions and teller functions accurately
• Flexible to schedule changes when necessary
• Excellent customer service skills
• Cash handling experience, one year required, two year's preferred
• Supervisor experience, one year required, two year's preferred

Hours: Average hours worked will be 39 hours per week
